This is as close to my favorite shade of purple so far in daylilies. A grape purple with a darker purple almost blue striped halo, A very large triangular green throat splashes onto the sepals and is surrounded by a white halo that sets off the pronounced white midribs. The petals curl back and the sepals sometimes pinch, making this a true star in the garden. Fertile both ways.
